SAT cutoff?

I remember reading some stuff here on CC about needing a certain SAT score to even be considered @ Oberlin. Is there an official, or an unofficial SAT cutoff at the college?

No. Oberlin looks at the total picture, not just scores.

What is general middle SAT range?

Reading: 650-750
Math: 620-710
Writing: 690-750

(These numbers are from Princeton Review, so I don't know how recent they are.)

Remember that, statistically, a full quarter of accepted students have test scores that are lower than the middle 50% - so if yours aren't that high, that doesn't mean they're not high enough. And Oberlin, like LACs in general, really wants to see that you're a person who will bring passion and diversity to campus. Consistently strong grades, involvement and achievement in your ECs, good teacher recs, essays that highlight what makes you interesting and unique - these are a lot more important than test scores.

That is a relief. I do have ****ty SAT scores so I am a bit concerned

Math : 680 CR:650 Wr: 620

As I think I've said before, try not to worry about such things. Obviously, try to do as well as you can, but don't think that something so imprecise is going to ruin your chances to attend a good college. Oberlin cares about applicants as human beings. You are not simply numbers inserted into an equation.
