I ordered SAT scores to be sent to CMU through the fastest shipping, and they should have been received on Monday. I called CMu, and they told me that they do not have any scores. Collegeboard told that they sent them. What's wrong? Does it take long time by CMu to upload the scores?

CMU has lots of “issues” with finding and posting materials to applicants’ files. Their system didn’t keep pace with the phenomenal growth in the number of applications they process. Give it a few days. If you call, they will tell you to be patient. And I suspect in the end, the scores will be placed in your file correctly but more likely in a time frame that was similar to someone who didn’t rush send them–this unfortunate and frustrating for sure.

If you can download the email confirmation that electronic scores were rushed-- you might be able to fax that to CMU and they can try to find the scores and get them in your file. At least such a fax will end up in your file. (Make sure everything you send has your CMU Application ID on top of it!)

I know last year, my S was in the ED pool, accepted and then throughout January his file kept showing “new” mysterious scores suddenly posted to his “where am i in the process” page.
Obviously someone else’s scores. (we called to have them removed so the someone else’s file could be updated)

So just stay on top of it in a “polite” way. If they say they don’t have them yet, say “would you mind if I call back in a few days” or “might I send you the CollegeBoard confirmation – I paid extra to rush them for ED consideration and I’m worried my file will not have all the scores”?
