I just sent in my SAT scores to CMU. The deadline is January 1st. Did I wait too long to send them in?

Call up the admissions office. Only they will be able to answer your question adequately.

CB says it will take 2-4 weeks but how long does it usually take?

Again, that is something you should be asking the admissions office, not College Confidential (I don’t know the answer, but I know they do.)

I was just wondering how long it took other people for CMU to receive.

You should definitely be fine! Usually they are received within 2 weeks. I’d call the OofA just to let them know; they are usually pretty flexible with that stuff!

Okay thanks! On CB, it says the scores are still pending. Should I be concerned?

College Board did the same with my son’s scores. I called them about it. They said they hold them to give students time to add more or make changes. Ours went out on Friday to all the schools we had listed (some had been pending for about a week). By Saturday, one school had them listed as received on the checklist. It’s pretty quick once they do it. You can check again to see if they’re still pending and you can also check on Monday to see if they’ve been received.
