This may seem like a dumb question, but are you allowed to use, say, non-fiction details
Say if I were to use Spider-man or Batman in my essay, and I were able to do it as well as any other example, would it be possible to get a 12?

Serious question, really. I'm not saying I don't have any examples, I just need some back-ups I can work well with

Yes, of course you can. You can make up your own examples, too (ex. fictional events, anecdotes, etc.)

Is what you say true!?
Like, of course I’ll make it work as I would with any other example
but have people actually done that and have they gotten a 10-12?

You can use ANY examples as long as they are not inappropriate.

Yes, they have. Your readers are trained not to check for factual accuracy, so you can make up whatever you want (as long as it’s reasonable).
