I don’t have SAT scores and I think it’s too late to take them. Is it possible not to send scores?

Their website says “It is highly recommended, but not required, that students living outside the U.S. submit scores from SAT Subject Tests and/or AP Tests along with their SAT scores.”

So only the Subject Tests are optional? The basic SAT is required?

I think so. Every site I’ve read says that the university/college requires international students to take the SAT General. Sometimes they ask for the additional TOEFL score, so I’m pretty sure you need to do the SAT. The SAT Subjects are mainly used to get out of some basic classes in college, and to show off your skill in any particular subjects. It’s not mandatory, but it’s recommended. Hope this helps,

International Students and Non-Native English Speakers:
In addition to the flexible testing requirements, students whose first language is not English must also submit results from either the TOEFL or IELTS test. The TOEFL/IELTS requirement can only be waived for students whose language of instruction over the past four years has been English. SAT or other test scores are not a substitute for the TOEFL or IELTS tests. In order to be considered for admission, an applicant must receive a minimum of 100 on TOEFL test or 7 on the IELTS test.

All students must also follow the test-flexible policy. Since you haven’t taken the SAT, you need to take either the ACT or submit a combination of three SAT Subject Tests and/or AP tests in the following categories:
Science or math
English, history, languages, arts or social sciences
Student’s choice: One test of the student’s choice but in a discipline different from the other two

Abby it is not too late to take the SAT or ACT. For RD rounds these tests can usually be taken into January and sometimes even February depending on the test and school. You should be able to find the last test dates BMC will accept pretty quickly on their website.
