I know USC and UC schools don't require an SAT score for junior transfers but I couldn't help but see how prominant the space for it is on the transfer apps. Do most transfers submit their scores even if they aren't required? Is it bad if I don't? I never took the SAT or ACT so I wanna know.

can't hurt.....can help slightly though....i actually retook the SATs just for transfer, even though I really didn't need to...(old SATs)...brough up my score 100 points flat...not retaking it wouldn't have hurt me, but I'm sure bringing it up did help me, even if it might have been minimally

thanks. anyone else have an opinion?

No. Rather spend the time and effort to get the best college grades you possibly can.

Having an SAT score can't hurt but it won't help you or be significant for college admission as it does for freshman. Concentrate on maintaining a high GPA in college and writing superb essays... oh- and pray :) j/k
