Hi. This is for all those who got Version B of the test.

What did you guys get for the following:

Last question of the Asian one- What did the girl feel when she saw more asians on TV?

Photoluminescent= Was it similar to the crab coming out of its shell?

What did you get for the Sentence COmpletion about the Murder mystery?

What about the guy who denied his gulitness?

The book was so intricate? Was that convuloted?

Oh, and what would that translator ask the person from passage #1?

What do you think the curve will be like:

I would say:
CR- Math-
800 800
800 790
780 760
760 740
750 730
740 720
730 700
710
690

She was proud that more normal asians were getting screen time?

nonchalant...perfunctory for the sentence completion

I said crab coming out of its shell too.

did you get the chimpanzee or venice passages?

I had this version of the test. I had 4 CR sections, one of which was very difficult (about a man describing his experiences as a literary critic). I'm hoping that this was experimental since many people seem to have the combo of the 3 CR sections you listed.

I said convoluted for that one. For the denying guilt completion, I strongly believe it was nonchalant/perfunctory. I said the crab coming out of its shell - thats definitely right. I don't really remember the others but the ones I remember I said the same answers as you.

That CR curve would seem about a right. I thought the completions were easy but the selection about translations had a few difficult questions. Math was definitely harder than usual, but I'm pretty strong in math so I was able to manage.

Yeah.. For the chimp, they 1) The guy from passage 1 would say that he should verify claims before making conclusions. Am I right?

These are my answers:

Don't RMR
Crab/Shell
Don't RMR
Don't RMR
Convoluted
If it still held the essence of the original poem?

I thought it would be if it was translated verbatim?

What about that horror novel?

I said holds the essence.

Did you get an answer that had "the unique nature of the original poem" ?

What did you guys get for the 500 ft fence and fence posts in the grid in?

It was definitely 101.

Think of going left to right. Each time you have a fence segment you have a pole to its left - so thats 100. Then you add the last one on the right - 101.

I said it was 101.

for the scale posted, if i ommitted 3 and got 3 wrong, does the scale still hold?

Yea i wrote 101 too, I messed up that 20 mile question tho haha... stupidly wrote 30 for some reason (got lazy i guess)... i think its like 26.7 or something.

One more thing, I remember a question that asked about what colorful meant from the grocery store passage. THe answer choices were like eyecatching, vividly descriptive, robust, and subtly hued.

That one stumped me.

The other question from that passage was hard too. It was like why did she used "clean linen". It was between nostalgia and something else.

Vividly Descriptive

The "clean linen" - I believe it was to evoke a particular sensation.

What did you guys put for the Asian sightings question asking about her parents' attitude towards Asian sightings or something? I put "contentious and overwrought" but none of the answer choices seemed to make sense to me.

It was comprehensive and structured, or something like that.
Remember, the parents would critique on the looks, the blah blah, the blah blah, etc.
Also, the narrator was irritated by this.
In addition, she felt the actresses would be unable to trick the panelists.
And she was unsurprised that the panelists guessed her correctly.

Also, denounced, pragmatic, and the polemical answer were both definitely correct for sentence completions =P

I got something systematic in it for that one. And for the last one about asian sightings I put something like she applauded the fact that there were more asians on tv or something. I believe it was choice A.

Nope, its not contentious and overwrought for sure, but I'm not sure what exactly the other answer choices were.

However, remember that any time an Asian would show up on TV, the girl's parents would compare her and her brothers to the Asian celebrity. Remember, at one point, the parents even asked Helen "Why don't you try out for the beauty pageant?"...so the answer was something along the lines of "admiration" or viewing them as "role models".

ALL OF THESE HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED CORRECT BABY BY ME AND OTHERS ON CC MULTIPLE TIMES. SO PLEASE, IF YOU GUYS AND OTHERS ON CC AGREE AND KNOW ANY OTHER ANSWERS FOR SURE, COPY AND PASTE THIS LIST AND ADD ON!!!

Yea I got not surprised that they would guess her also. And for some really stupid reason I put the actors would be able to trick thep anelists and then changed it to some other thing...
