SAT French 750+ after missing one year in school?

So for those of you who have taken the SAT French subject test, how hard was it to get higher than a 750?

I want to try and satisfy a college's foreign language requirement, but I couldn't take AP French this year as a senior because of scheduling conflicts. Basically I have had three years of adequate French classes (non-native, I was decent at it) and a year off, and if I study for a month and a half, do you think I can make it?

My friend–non-native, but had been taking French since 6th grade–took the SAT II French a year after she finished AP French Lang, scored 770. She was taking AP French Lit independent study in the meantime, though, and AP French covers a lot of useful grammar. You might do well to go through an AP prep book/textbook as well as SAT II prep.
