<p>Has anyone taken the French subject test after (more or less) self-studying for it? How did you go about preparing for it?</p>
<p>I'm currently in my fifth year of French (well, the first three were all pretty much the same hahah), and will be taking the test in October of this year.</p>

<p>Think in French. That’s the best advice i can give. If you come across a word you would’ve used in English, look it up. Read books in French (you can buy them on Amazon). When reading, if you come across words/idioms/sentence structures you don’t know, look them up. </p>
