Advice for studying for French SAT Subject test?

I'm a senior in high school but I've only taken 2 years of French. However, last year my teacher agreed to let me take the French year 3 exam so I could test into French 4. So I procrastinated. A LOT. Still, I learned the third year of French in less than a week and passed the exam. UNFORTUNATELY when I returned to school after the summer I found out that neither French 3 nor French 4 were offered during periods that would fit in my schedule around my required classes. I still want to show that I'm making some effort in French for my senior year, so I thought I should take the SAT Subject Test. With my limited background in French, do you think this would be a good idea? Any advice for studying? Are there any good prep books that really helped you guys out?
