I need to take one more SAT II and I plan to apply early action/decision to some schools (Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, Johns Hopkins) . My SAT I is about 2200 but I have not taken SAT Math II yet (necessary because I plan to do engineering). Is it okay to take the SAT II in November and try the SAT I again to boost my score about 50-100 points?

OR should I just take SAT Math II in October and SAT I in November?
Would both tests count either way for EARLY ACTION/DECISION? THANK YOU!

Check the school's individual websites for the latest testing date they allow for ED/EA.

Your SAT score is fine. Unless there's a high disparity between individual sections (i.e. 800 M, 650 CR), or you've been studying and working on your mistakes and really think you can do better, don't retake it. It's not worth retaking just for the sake of "Oh, let's just see if I can get lucky."
