Hey I was wondering everybody that scored 800 on the Lit Sat II what kind of preperation did you use? Also, what kind of books did you use to help you prepare for this rigorous test. Please and any help would be apreciated!

I used the Barron's Literature book. But critical reading/literature is something that's built over time. If you've read a lot then you'll do well on the test, if you aren't a good reader, you can't cram for the Lit test.

No preperation... switched to this from chem on a whim after looking over the problems in chem and getting scared. If you do well on CR tests in general (i.e. SAT or ACT CR), this test should play to your strength. If not, studying will be an uphill battle and I might suggest taking another test that is more information based.

I agree that it's not as "studyable" as many tests. Personally, I didn't do outside preparation, but I had already taken AP Lit when I took the SAT II, and I found this to be useful. However, I realize that not all schools allow AP Lit prior to senior year.
