In the MC questions after each chapter in Barron's, they ask questions about the NAMES of the people who came up with some theories, like Darwin or Pavlov. Do you really need those names? cause I really don't see what knowing names has to do with biology...

I also want to know if the names were pertinent to the test. Please someone with experience answer as soon as possible. Thanks.

^You do not need to know specific names; if they ask questions on animal behavior, they will only ask questions about the actual behaviors themselves (ex. classical conditioning, imprinting, etc.) and not about the names like Pavlov and stuff.

Thank you so much.

Unfortunately CollegeBoard decides to be gay once in a while and asks the specific name of someone who developed some theory eg. On the October test, a question was asked about the names of the persons that developed a specific evolutionary theory and it wasnt an obvious one like Darwin or Larmack -_-

and what about the Microscopes ?

and what about the Microscopes ?

since there was a microscope question on all of the practice tests i took (barron’s and sparknotes), i’m guessing they are part of most of the bio tests

I’ve taken the test three times and I have never encountered a microscope question, so most likely it will not be on the test, but I am not sure if it has showed up on another test.

Is the curve of CB’s test similar to the one used in barron’s? Or is it similar to sparknotes? Thanks.
