SAT II Bio E/M 800 students who studied from Barron's

Hi I'm wondering if you guys who got 800's literally almost memorized the Barron's book word for word because I'm making flash cards currently and it requires a lot of determination and time. I'm hoping my work will pay off. I am willing to spend about 5 hours on Sat and Sundays and 2 hours on weekdays. I calculated this I find that I will have memorized the barron's book with 22 days left before the actual October test. Please tell me if you memorized it word for word because I'm scared this approach is a waste of time and unnecessary work or it will actually pay off in the end.

Thank You Very Much for your responses.

Bump bump bump

Lol first of all don’t study from barrons, best imo is simply read cliffnotes AP Bio, it should suffice for SAT 2 bio and it is pretty thorough in its concepts. The AP bio test and sat bio test almost parallel as i’ve taken both. I DID not use Barrons because it simply focuses on obscure facts that are unlikely to show up ever.

pokrat, did you use any other review books besides cliff notes ap bio? I heard the cliff notes ap bio book has too much extra info that is not necessary to know for the bio sat 2.

Also, would you mind if i asked you what you got on the Bio SAT II?

thanks
