idk let me know what u guys think for that question
http://www.ib.bioninja.com.au/_Media/food_web_med.jpeg the way I saw it was something like this, you start from the bottom and try to find the longest chain, so you can get 3,4 or 5 but the question asked for the longest. I’m not completely sure though, could be wrong.
I think it was really 4. It did ask for the maximum number of trophic levels. What I thought was
Grass(producers), Rat/Grasshopper(primary consumers), Weasel/Snake(secondary), Hawk(tertiary). 4.
They’re not separated by how many animals, but instead by how many consumers. The whole thing with maximum is a bit concerning though.
I remember there was one about the cell replication cycle. At the last moment I chose interphase and mitosis but I can’t remember the specifics of the question.
Wasn’t the answer for the lyosome question that salts would accumulate?
@sukhtheduke1 thats what i exactly put but im having second thoughts now
I probably did worse on this test than the October one… this one had so many tricky questions in the General Section. All I know is that I got every question in the E section right
I was going to go for the salts one too, but I thought that lysosomes don’t break down salts, so salts should have nothing to do it. I don’t know I have so much doubt about that one.
@TalhaK123 I thought it was engorged with macromolecules cuz if it didn’t have an enzyme it would just consume stuff without breaking it down. engorged means to fill up or swell with something.
@Chris817 Exactly, that’s what I though too.
I got 780 ecology
800 Molecular
760 ecology… not bad I guess considering that I thought I’d gotten less than 700
750E and 800m2!!
