SAT II books

I need good books for U.S. history (end of sophomore year), Math 2c (I finished pre-calc but hesitated to take the test)
also, how difficult is the bio e/m test?

I am considering extra books besides the Real SAT book (and I hear a history Real SAT book is coming soon)

don't go for bio yet, it's pretty difficult

BTW, I am a rising sophomore, so any other advice would be deeply appreciated.

"don't go for bio yet, it's pretty difficult"
That's pretty much what I assumed. So far, I've only finished one biology class and I'm supposing that the test requires some A.P. biology.

You sound like me. I am taking the U.S. History and the Math 2 exam this fall. I am not certain what books I am getting but here are my ideas.

US History
-SparkNotes
-Possibly Kaplan

Math Level 2
-Barrons
-Princeton Review and/or SparkNotes

I have had some uncomfortable experiences with Kaplan, so I will be looking into Barrons and maybe SparkNotes. Are the two sources reliable if one considers practice tests and strategies?

Barron's and meylani for math 2c and real sat II and sparknotes. You can get all of the tests online at sparknotes by logging on a different people because your first practice test is free.

Hey, similar situation--I'm an incoming sophomore and next year (in June) I plan on taking the SAT II's in Bio (not sure which subdivision), French, and Math IIC. Not sure what books, though.

Barron's meylani and sparknotes online

Stix, is there also a sparknotes tangible book/guide? (They only sell SparkNotes in Barnes & Noble, right?)

Cutting in: yes, B&N publishes and almost exclusively sells s/notes.
Latest reprints have CDs letting you access books' texts and other stuff online.

www.sparknotes.com

math iic i recommend princeton review and just your precalc/trig book. i got sparknotes but it just said the same thing as pr not to mention it had a lot of typos in it.

How difficult is U.S. history? Does it emphasize actual references to history or just ability to reason?
