hello fellow cc'ers. I've already taken my SAT II chinese and scored a 790 (oh well) but I also take spanish in school, which i do reasonably well in. I was wondering if I should take SAT II spanish because i think showing up as trilingual would be considersably impressive on my resume. I also take sat ii math (800)
thanks for all the info

I really don’t think that matters too much
I think schools would rather see scores in multiple subject areas
But i’m going to assume you speak Chinese at home so maybe it might help to take a language test of a language you learned in school
up to you

I obviously can’t speak for your Spanish skills, but I took the Spanish II SAT and it was hard. I’m in Spanish IV, and Spanish is one of my best subjects, but I am only a junior; my downfall was probably taking it too early. I didn’t do terribly (660), but if you want something that compares to your other scores, I’d suggest waiting as long as possible so you can learn as much grammar and vocabulary as you can.

I took AP Spanish language and now in AP Spanish Literature

and i found the subject test difficult

a 660 is good
but with your other scores I think you should just disregard it
