Sat II for privates, NEED HELP!

<p>Do private schools such as USF and University of Washington heavily weight acceptances on SAT II ? I didn't do so well on SAT II's but I have a pretty good SAT I score.. will that sort of make things better?</p>

<p>Which USF and Washington are you referring to? University of Washington in the State of Washington, a public university, does not use SAT IIs for admission. Neither does the University of South Florida which is also a public university. If you you mean University of Washington St. Louis, it does not require SAT IIs but recommends them and says it will consider them only if it will enhance the rest of your admission file not if they will decrease from the rest of your file. University of San Francisco neither requires nor uses SAT IIs for admission.</p>

<p>Oh sorry for the mix up, I meant University of San Francisco and University of Washington (Seattle)… Does SAT II really help a lot? My major that I am planning to apply for is Nursing, does the major make a difference?</p>

<p>Neither uses SAT IIs for admission so they won’t help at all for those two colleges.</p>
