Would you guys be so kind and post some? I know practically all state universities dont require the SAT II except UCs.

^ The UC's require them, so don't say all state schools.

Should we also post colleges that will let you take the ACT in lieu of the SAT and the subject tests? I could name a bunch of those right now too.

A state school (also called a public school) is any school that is supported by the state. UCs are supported by the state. They are state schools. CSUs are also state schools, but ones that do not have the power to grant PhDs and don't do research--they are more for terminal degrees and very career-oriented training.

Stanford does not require SAT IIs. UCs may not require them next year, or perhaps the year after that--it is still being decided.

Wash U, UChicago, and Emory don't require the subject tests, FYI.

Many CSUs are nearly as expensive as UCs. They are more for the BA degree because California found the need to accommodate the masses of students who only wanted and needed a terminal degree.

Whoaaaaa. Way off topic here.

Let's keep it civil here, guys.
