<p>I took both of these tests. I got a 4 on AP French..............and a 570 on SAT II French. I found the tests to be very different. AP French is more testing your ability to comprehend and communicate French, whereas the SAT subject test read kind of like an elementary school grammar sheet. A 4 on the AP isn't perfect, but it's a fairly good score, at least for a foreign language. I took the AP first. I'm kind of wondering how an admissions office would interpret these two very different scores?</p>
