SAT II Lit

Anyone think that this SAT II is just a bunch of ambiguous questions about the selection. I signed up for bio, math 2, and lit. I know I can handle the first 2, but this lit one seems odd. I have until June to prep, but can I drop it and just take 2 on test day if I feel it's too risky to take?

Yeah you can just not take it, and it won't be a problem. If you have all this time though, I say go for it! I took Literature, and I did very well after practicing for the SAT Verbal and Literature AP.

If you are good at CR and you prep a bit, you should be fine with lit.

yeah sometimes it can be hard picking the right answer. anyone else get bored when reading longer passages?

Yeah it gives me a headache and sometimes I just stop reading and go to the questions especially when its a boring, random topic. And there are always 2 answers that are very close in meaning and it's so annoying.

yea i hate reading long broing pasasages and i got a 500 on the literature SAT 2 test, and i don't think i'm dumb. lols. nah im pretty good in english and look what happend to me. but yea if your comfortable in literature then go for it!

yeah long passages blow! rather have all poetry

wait.. do you have to report SAT IIs even if you do poorly on them? or can you take like 4 and report 3?

They send all when your report you scores to colleges. So yeah, they poor ones will show up unless you cancel them right after you took the test.

Also, if you want to cancel scores from one test you have to cancel scores from all tests you took that day.

do NOT prep for lit. i dont even really think you can... well if you don't usually, now would be a good time to start reading. books.

but i think its mostly up to your natural ability to understand very confusing writing. with the poetry i didnt even have a clue what it was about until i read the answer choices, but i dont think i could have studied up on how to understand sequences of random words picked by depressed people.

i hate how it's a random grab bag, you could get lucky and get all of the questions right or get 1-2 passages that you don't get at all and get all of those questions wrong.

Personally, I didn't find the SAT II Literature to be random.
