I need a third SAT II and it looks like Literature is my only option. Which book is the best to use? Any advice or input would be great because I don't know anything about this test.

I used Princeton Review's Writing/Literature book, but it didn't seem to have much on Literature, I think because it's just a hard test to study for! I suggest getting comfortable with the format, reviewing basic literary terms, and READING. Read a variety of literature, from poetry to classics to magazines. Sorry for not exactly answering your question, but I hope I helped a little. :)

I looked at Princeton Review but decided on Kaplan's. There's not really a whole lot they can tell you that will really boost your score - just so long as you know the literary terms, what constitutes a sonnet, etc. that's all you can get from a book. What you really want to do is get as much practice with the actual tests as possible and familiarize yourself with the questions. Kaplan has something like 8 practice tests compared to 2 for PR.

how is the sat2 literature compared to the ap english language/literature test?

Lit is much harder.
