Hello, I’m a junior planning to take the SAT II Math Level 2 test in October and am about to start studying for it. I’ve heard many people say that Barron’s isn’t that good because it has way too much information. Is this true? And if there are any other prep books you’d like to recommend, please do so. Thanks~
Definitely get a practice test from the college board (available in two different publications I think).
There are very mixed opinions about Dr. Chung’s books; but some people really swear by them.
Dr. Steve Warner recently published a book for this test and most of his books are very helpful.
I am currently using Barrons and I think it is absolutely amazing. The first time I took the first collegeboard released test I got around a 650 which is pretty bad. After going through the Barrons book (which over-prepares you), I easily got an 800 on the second collegeboard released test and am also expecting that same score on the real test. I would definitely recommend Barrons.
