SAT II math....

if i omitted 20 questions on the math, got 4 or 5 wrong, what do you think my score will be considering that i did the experimental. also considering the math curve

10 blank - still possible to break 700?? Anyone??

sorry, the answer to the painting one is actually not .075m + 25, i was messing up with the above posts. according to your question, the answer should be 2.3m+.75.
beacuse 2.3m is the time to take paint m miles, and .75 is the hour for the preparation, so the total time should be 2.3m+.75.

hey morgan...thanks alot..is this answer under option D or E? cos i remember me putting something like this...but not too sure...there wasn't a choice with 2.3m+75 right? cos the .75 and 75 kinda messed up my head...

Don't worry about it, i don't think 2.3m+75 is a choice, your should be fine. now it's sleep time for me, good night.

I apologize for being a nudge, but I'm really worried about my score and was wondering what the best possible score I could get with 10 blank

If you left 10 blank, and we assume that the other 40 are correct, then the score will be in the 700-710 range (this is according to the Barron's scale).

Okay. Thanks for getting back to me :-)

answer to # 30 anyone? the one that asked if there is point o and plane m what figure if formed that is 3 units away from o and 5 units from plane m

i put sphere for that one, but i am not sure its right.

i put cylinder... was a total guess...

I put two circles, but I wanto to know in case I have to take Math ic again

morgan -- was the answer choice A though? I think I put the first one

I put cylinder as well as a total guess. I probably should have left it blank. :(

The answer was TWO CIRCLES. If you imagine it in your head, it works. First, the shape created by all points 5 units from a single point is a sphere. Then, the shape created with all points 3 units from a plane would be a cube. This would make a sphere going through a cube. If you picture it, they would have two areas of commonality - where the faces of the cube "cut" through the sphere, creating two flat circles.

I sincerely doubt that a 40 raw score is a 700-710 on the Math IIC test. In the PR book, a 40 is a 770 and a 33 is a 700. So you are way above a 700 ethnobot, as long as you got the others correct. I, on the other hand, am praying to God that I broke a 700.

i wrote a letter complaining to the ETS

IceMan5043, I took the IC and not the IIC, so 700-710 is probably more accurate, but thanks anyway and good luck to you!!

Can Anyone Read Off The College Board's Scale?

I only got to question 40 on the Math IC test, so consider yourselves lucky.

If I'm fairly confident on the rest of my answers (give or take a few), do you think I still have a slim chance of breaking 600?

I honestly don't know why I took this test, considering none of the schools I'm applying to require them.
