Hello,
So I applied early decision to a school that requires SAT Subject Tests and I took two subject tests for the first time on this last Saturday (the November test). I also applied to two other schools for early action. On my Common App, I listed that I was going to take the Subject Tests in November, even though both of these schools don’t require/recommend or even mention Subject Tests on their admissions pages. I don’t feel too good about one of the subject tests that I took (I feel as if I got around a 600-650). I have already set my scores to be sent to the schools, but I could always cancel the score report.
My question is that If I chose not to send this November test to these two schools that don’t require/recommend it, would anything happen since I listed on the CommonApp that I would take this test? I don’t want the schools to be waiting endlessly for the scores or anything since they might be expecting them due to my Common App.
If the school does not require/recommend a subject test, then I assume it would be better to not send anything than to send a low score.
Thanks for your time!
