I’m applying early action to a couple of schools, which requires that I submit my application by November 1st. I’ve just completed my fourth subject test, but due to the delay in receiving scores, I was unsure if I could include those scores in my Common App. Does anyone know if colleges will be able to see my scores even though I receive them after I’ve submitted my application?
Also, kind of unrelated: does anyone know how many questions you can get wrong to get an 800 on the Spanish subject test? I’m aware that US students’ scores are curved in the same cohort as native speakers from other countries.
The 10/7 scores should be out between 10/20-26 (CB website suggests same for subject test scores), so if you wait until after that to submit your EA 11/1 app, you’ll be able to include your scores on the common app. I actually came on here to ask a different, but related, question. I want son to wait until we get the scores before deciding whether or not we will send them for an EA app due 11/1. If we request the score report to be sent on, say, 10/22, will it arrive in time for EA consideration? SAT II is not required but recommended there. He has an earlier SAT II that I intend to send in, but I would pay the same amount for 1 or 3, so I thought I’d try to do them together.
Also, is that correct re subject test scores come out the same time as the regular test scores?
The SAT II Scores come out simultaneously along with the SAT I, if I am not mistaken. I recently spoke to some admissions officers as well, and they said that applicants’ scores will be accounted for/viewed if you receive them after the deadline. To be safe, I think I’m going to hold off on submitting until scores come out, because they can support my intended major.
