i just recently found out i need to take a SAT II IN PHYSICS or in CHEMISTRY. I took AP Biology so I'll definitely be taking BIO SAT II and MATH IIC also.
I took regents chemistry last year and i have never taken physics (that's only in senior year for me).

I must take either on of them but i need to know which one would be easier to self-teach and study for and do pretty well on. I don't really remember much from chemistry so most of it will be learning for the first time anyways though i may be familiar with very things.
Which has a better curve? Which is more math oriented? Are either of them easier to understand than the other? Does either have less information to know than the other?

I know Physics has a HUGE curve, but then again, there’s a reason for that. If I were you, I would take Chemistry, because you have some experience (It’s going to be hard to self teach, remember that. A 30 minute reading of the book I did one time for homework could have been done in around a 5 minute lecture from my Chemistry teacher).

When do you plan to take it? If it’s this Saturday, then I’d definitely go with Chemistry. The Physics test has a huge curve because so many people do so terribly on it. It would be impossible to try to learn mechanics, thermal, electricity, magnetism, waves, and optics in a day.

If you’re taking it in October, just skim through both books, try a practice test from each, and see which one you’re better at.
