Chemistry or Physics?

I am looking into studying computer science in college, which unfortunately falls under the engineering school of many schools so it requires a SAT II in Chemistry or Physics. I am a rising senior, so I am looking to take one of them in October. I have taken honor levels (no APs) in both of them. I feel more comfortable with Chemistry, than Physics. Which is generally considered to be easier?

I am looking to self-study over the summer. My goal is to break 700. Consider my knowledge to be mediocre. Should I go Chem or Physics? Should I use a textbook or just the SAT II prep books?

Thanks!

well, which course have you taken more recently? if i were you, i would take a practice exam of each to see which you might score higher in. i haven’t taken physics yet (taking it next year) so i can’t really help much more…sigh

Chemistry is an easier test by far, by a much less forgiving curve. You could get 3-4 wrong for 800 IIRC. But the questions are pretty simple; just be sure to not make stupid mistakes, be careful, and study up for the true-false section.
Physics, IMO, is harder. However the curve is crazy. Something like 59/75 raw = 800. For what it’s worth, I just took Chem and got an 800 first try. Physics, I got a 760 and then an 800 the second time. Both courses I self-studied for. If I were you, especially considering that you feel more familiar with it, I’d stick to chemistry.
