so what does SAT ii physics require? next year (junior) i will be taking AP physics 1. would this course be sufficient enough to prepare me for a good score like a 760? or would taking physics b or c help me reach an 800? i'm also going to be self studying.

The SAT subject test in physics covers the topics in a one year high school physics course.

However, while AP physics 1 and 2 combined covers the topics in greater depth than a regular high school physics course, taking either 1 or 2 but not the other would give no coverage of some topics found on the SAT subject test.

Compare the SAT subject test topics:

With the AP physics 1 and 2 topics:

oh wait, so if i take ap physics one, i’m basically learning only 1 semester of the knowledge i need on the SAT ii physics test? so it would be better to take the regular physics course right?
