Any suggestions? I was going to get the Barron's book for math and the kaplan book for history but I was wondering if anyone had any opinions. Also... any particular study strategies from anyone who scored 700+?

Additionally, I don't mind if the review book is more detailed or harder than the actual test. Actually, i'd prefer if the book were full of information to further intensify by study session

Math IC: Barron's is supposedly quite good, as is Kaplan. Buy Rusen Meylani's 10 Realistic SAT II Math IC Test Booklets---it's a life saver.

US History: A good AP book such as John Newman's AMSCO book is best for the material, whereas a good SATII book such as Kaplan or Sparknotes is best for the practice tests. I really like the way the AMSCO book breaks topics down---it makes history seem almost intuitive.

you should really get the real SAT II subject test by college board because they tell you what exactly you need to know. I studied from the barons and when i took the test there was one problem on matrices, and i got really ****ed off because I didn't remember how to do it and baron didn't prep up on those. when I went back to the real SAT II subject test by college board I was looking at what you need to know for the math I content and it specificly said matrices!!!

Well I'm in pre-calc right now, so I know a lot of what's on the math already, I guess it's just getting used to the questions and reviewing material. Since I'm on a limited budget, should i get the 10 Realistic SAT II Math IC Test Booklets or Barron's math if it could only be one or another?

Unfortunately, I never took APUSH--I would have this year but our school has changed to the IB program and the test isn't even until next year. :-/ I have a feeling that I'm screwed because of that...
