Sat Ii > Sat I?

are the SAT IIs usually sometimes even MORE important than the SAT I's when the college admission officers evaluate you because it shows your understanding of seperate SUBJECTS instead of your ability to "reason" - (or in the modern age, take as many SAT prep courses and do as many problems from the blue book as possible) ...

this is just my opinion, but i would say no. i think reasoning and critical thinking skills are more important in college and life in general. if you did great on the chemistry exam, but decide you want to pursue literature in college....how does that help you? but in every discipline, reasoning and analytical skills are essential.

and aren't SAT IIs just as prep-able?

Just as? They're far more preppable, they're based on a curriculum. If IIs were anywhere near as important, colleges would report their scores much more loudly.

SAT IIs are important depending on what you want to do in college. Most engineering schools count SAT IIs in Math and Sciences much more than the SAT I.
