SAT II ScoreChoice

Hi.

I took the SAT II for Math2 and Physics last Saturday on May 4.
My CB account said that I have until Monday, May 13 to pick 8 colleges to send my scores to, but I don't know my scores until May 23.

Does this mean that if I want to send free score reports, I have to do so before my deadline even without knowing my scores?

By the way, a friend took an SAT II in January but she has until June to pick her score recipients. How is this so? Aren't all students supposed to have the same amount of time to pick their recipients?

Also, people said that if you send the score to one college, other colleges will have access to your scores as well. How do you pick which colleges to send to then so you don't waste your limited amount of sends?

I guess your friend signed up for June 1 SAT (1 or 2), so she pick 4 schools by Jun10 to send scores (including the SAT2 from Jan) for free. If you worry about the score, then don’t choose the free scores recipients. However, you can take advantage of the free offer and send score to safety schools or schools that require all score anyway.

No, other school would not have access to your score unless you send to them. Why would they be interested in your score if you are not interested in them? They have plenty of scores to look at from their applicants already. Obviously, you only send scores to the schools that you are applying (or going to apply).
