SAT II Scoring (Esp. Math II)

I know that the scoring depends largely on a curve, but can someone help me out on the general scoring for the Math II test? I know you can get a raw score of around 44 (I'm banking on 3 omits and 2~3 incorrect on the test I took in Jan.) and get an 800. However, what's the next score down? Is there always a 790? Or depending on the distribution, does it sometimes just jump down to 780? If the latter is case, how many additional problems could I miss and still hold on to that 780/790?

I appreciate this guys - this test is stressing me out a whole lot more after I've taken it than before. Thanks in advance!

-8 usually is cut for 800. Almost for sure, there's always 790.

-8 raw points, or -8 questions? I seriously doubt it's -8 questions >.>

3 days later

.... uh... it is -8 RAW points right?

43 raw score = 800
