i don’t remember there being an answer with the dred scott case, but there was definitely a question about it. i think the question asked about the verdict of the dred scott case (i put slaves were not citizens)

self-determination was the answer to the woodrow wilson 14 points one. i’m 100% sure it’s correct

wasn’t there an answer choice that was about removing native americans from the frontier? i think i put that…

ok good…yea i put slaves not citizens

i also put self-determination not imperalism

i put something with expansionsits not relating to slaves…maybe it was NA or something.

whartonwanna be is right. the warhawks was an alliance of south-west, where the supporters of war wanted to expand into canada in order to introduce slavery.

i dont think warhaws have something to do with slavery because some war hawks were from the territories, not allowing slavery. from the wikipedia website under war hawks, htere is this quote

". War Hawks from the western states also believed that the British were instigating American Indians on the frontier to attack American settlements, and so the War Hawks called for an invasion of British Canada to punish Britain and end this threat.[2]
"

That’s at least a 780. With a good curve, you might get 800?

I put that too, but it’s wrong. Easily looked up- Naval Conference to decrease Naval Arms. In 1921 Britain DID agree to pay the US $4.6 billion but I don’t think it was in the White House… Come to think of it, I don’t know if either was held in the White House. Online doesn’t tell me–did the question actually say White House, anyone?

Well for the immigrant voting/party loyalty question, damnit, you got me. I messed that up.

For the graphs, I essentially said what you did in more spare terms, did you accidentally read a few lines below it?

Which of the following did not happen 3 years into the great depression - Inflation or Increasing investments in capital market.

i thought it was that production < consumption (which i think you repeated, you put this at the top and bottom of the list as two answers)

I hope I didnt misread. I thought it said which was not true. I always thought taht at the beginning of wars, imports = exports but when the other countries went to war, us exported more to help them…

anyone else confirm this? i could be totally wrong.

and i think you are missing some of the earlier questions about american indians…i looked at the first 5 questions and i was like crap i shoulda studied colonial history.

It’s what they said above–Slaves aren’t citizens.

Oui

That’s some question where the answer is like the Trail of Tears.

Can someone please state the wording of the Henry Clay / war hawks question?

i DO NOT remember seeing that question ANYWHERE so im terrified i misbubbled something :(

yes it did happen in washington
[Washington Conference (1921-22) – Britannica Online Encyclopedia](<a href=“Washington Conference | Treaties & Facts | Britannica”>Washington Conference | Treaties & Facts | Britannica)

uhh it said

in the war of 1812, henry clay and the warhawks used what reason to support the war (some wording of it)

two of the choices were

they used a south-west alliances to try to expand slavery into canada

they were expansionsts trying to kick NA off of their land (i put this)

Hey guys

I think for colonial legislation that they began with little power and then gained power by taking over finances

From the American Pageant (referring to 1775) “The colonial assemblies found various ways to assert their authority and independence. Some of which played the trick of withholding the governor’s salary unless he yielded to their wishes. He was usually in need of money- or he would not have came to this god-forsaken country - so the power of the purse usually forced him to terms.”

was one of the answers about New England shipping / trade? (for the henry clay one). I’m pretty sure slavery /expansion had nothing to do with the war of 1812.

Yeah, I don’t have all of the earlier questions. In fact, I’m pretty sure I do not have #2. Lol. Idk which others I don’t have, but we not have at least 85-86, because I discovered another one.

Anyways, it actually isn’t a repeat, and I am agreeing with you on the graphs.

There’s 2 Great Depression Questions - One is, which of the following caused it? And the other one is, which of the following was NOT true after 3 years into the Great Depression.

The first one’s answer is production > consumption. The second one is debatable–it’s either inflation (things deflated then) or increasing investments in capital market (people should not have invested then, the market had crashed, etc).

If the former is not true, then the later is. I get this feeling, however, that things had to have inflated at some point…but even if not, I hardly expect people started investing in the market again…

I was wondering if the question actually said White House and if the actual Treaty was made in there xP

It’s named the Washington Conference, so I assumed that much was true.

RedCatharsis - Im pretty sure it said Whit House

i think one of the questions asked what indian group helped the british, not the french. so i dont think iroquois is right

oh yea. you are right. for the second one, it said which was not ture? i put increasing investments because that just logically doesnt sound right (although just like you, now that i think about it, inflation could be right to)

for the war hawks one, expansionsts and slavery were seperate choices.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iroquois

(read under french and indian war)…the iroquois helped out the british

Are there 2 Indian tribe questions? People keep telling me this.

I’ll be honest, that’s what I’m worried the most about =P

I mean I have a lot of maybes and definitely wrongs by now, well a handful at least, and this one tickles my fancy the most.

You’re sure it’s increasing investments, right? People keep telling me they thought it was “decreasing,” but I was sure decreasing was D, which was decreasing manufacturing, and E was what we put, increasing investments in the capital market.

:

i mean im not sure but i remember being confused bc i thought the indians only helped the french. i chose iroquois anyways. the other choices were apache, navajo, and seminole

What am I looking at here:

I omitted none.
I got probably like 8 wrong (give or take a few because of debates here at CC):
-Supreme Court/President Quote: Eisenhower on desegregation to Wallace
-Great Depression first three years: Inflation
-VA/MA colonies vs. Spanish colonies: Joint-stock
-Walt Whitman: Romanticist
-People who didn’t support 2nd term FDR: Industrialists
-Lost generation: Literary people in Europe

So a raw score of 90-(8)-(8*.25)=80, does an 80 raw score really convert to a 790?

i missed a lot of social questions…so far i think i missed 10 (probalby more) and a lot were social.

i hope that the one about whitman was “rejection of reason” and “romantiscm”

i totally misread the one about cult of domesticity so i missed both choices…i thought it had to do with education since i just read the education part.

schoolisborning do you remember the other choices besides cult of domesticity? i cant figure out if i got that right or not
