SAT II United States History

there were some really random ones i couldnt get... i couldnt get 88.. who drew that tomato soup label?

Andy Warhol. Can we start consolidating a list of questions and answers?

Tomato soup label/pop art - Andy Warhol (A)

I HATED that test. It was harder than I thought, plus it was my first one and I was half asleep.

(I loved the easy first and last questions, however!)

oh god that was ridiculous.. do you guys remember the lawyers sign that said something like "Lawyers Sound Money".. did you guys get E for it? the one that said against bryans silver

yes 3365. What was the one with the quote: Jackson or Madison?

lewis999, i put Madison.

what was the one with Kennedy, with the answers including Southeast Asia Treaty Organization?

good that's what I put.

What was the greatest rebellion in colonies?: NY or Bacon's
What was the Lowell System one and what were some of the choices?

I don't remember the choices for the Kennedy one.

for the kennedy one, i'm pretty sure it was "sending military advisors to south vietnam"

bacons

lowell system was a...something about combining a residential system with new advancements

what about the splendid little war one?

i put Bacon's, llewis999. and the Lowell system, i only recall the first one being modern technology

jellybean27, was that residential system part of the first answer choice?

i put bacon.
lowell system - i put the water power plants or something
i think it was eisenhower for the SEATO
can someone tell me what the quote said?

oh crap i got that lowell one wrong..

1920s question: increased prosperity and higher standard of living OR one with minority rights

What was the Equal Rights Amendment one about?

Splendid little war=quick war, political goals...

I don't think I put "sending military advisors" but I'm not sure of the correct answer

yes, the lowell system answer was A...im 90% positive

the madison quote was something about how there would never be a big enough majority in the new republic to create tyranny

I'm pretty sure the "Lawyers for Sound Money" was actually D, the one against the "greenbacks." Sound money was an argument against paper money, because they didnt believe it had real value, not against unlimited coinage of silver, if I remember correctly.

crap i thot it was andrew jackson for that because of universal male suffrage. omg i am continuing to get things wrong

Silent Majority would have likely agreed with.....?

Person who would be anti-feminist is.....(rush or young)?

And one of the answers was Gulf of Tonkin, yes?

cookietime, i hope you're right. haha
