SAT II World, Chem, and Physics

Hi guys. I want to take the SAT II World, Chem, and Physics tests to compensate for some less than stellar grades in AP World, Chem I Honors, and Physics I Honors.

I like history in general. I also have a basic understanding of both chemistry and physics.

Do you think I can handle it? I'm aiming for a 750+ on each exam, if not an outright 800.

I am taking 5 AP classes this year. I'm a junior this year as well, so I have until October/November of senior year to take the tests, right?

Or should I concentrate my efforts on Chem and Physics since I received a 5 on the AP World exam?

All advice is welcome :)!

I also wish to take the SAT II Literature and USH test.

So here’s a tentative breakdown of what I wish to take (to compensate for poor grades in class):

1) World - Should I take it? I already got a 5 on the AP …

2) Physics - I will likely take this exam

3) Chem - I will likely take this exam

4) Literature - Should I take it if I get good grades in AP Lang this year?

5) US History - I’m already taking APUSH … so why not :)?

Bump!! Anyone?

You don’t need 5 SATII tests, as that would make you seem “test obsessed.” I would probably shoot for 3 tests in this order of preference:

Chem (easy 750)
Physics (if your good at physics this is a no-brainer)
USH/World (whichever one you are more comfortable with and like more)
Lit (I wouldn’t really recommend this one because it is very hard regardless of your background and AP Lang doesn’t help that much)

^What review books do you suggest?

Chem: Princeton Review
Physics: Princeton Review/Sparknotes (Sparknotes is a little better)
USH: Direct Hits
