I am fairly new to the admissions process, being a rising Junior. Most top-tier colleges want 2 or 3 SAT II subject scores, which subjects are needed most commonly?

Also are the SAT II subject tests the only thing colleges want besides SAT, and AP scores?

It doesn't matter; just take the ones that you'll do the best at.

Well, test scores aren't the only thing you send--you still have to send in your application, recommendations, transcript, of course. Most colleges want the SAT, SAT II, or ACT scores sent. Check with the colleges you're applying to, to see which ones they requires. Some schools require you to take certain SAT tests. You put AP scores on your application, you don't have them sent until after you get into college.

you don't send your AP scores after you get into your desired college? How does that make sense? Wouldn't a 5 be appealing toward an admissions officer for admission to their college? what the...
So SAT II are the only scores colleges look at with, test wise?

On the application, there is a section where you put awards. That's where you put AP scores. Then, after you get into college, you have to officially send AP scores through the CollegeBoard.

No, colleges look at SAT, SAT II, and ACT if you took it.

Different colleges have different rules regarding how many tests they want you to take and which tests those are. I know some more math and science-oriented schools, for example, require at least one Math SAT II and one Science one.

Take whatever subjects you are best at. Or whatever subjects you like the most. Either one (If those two criteria don't overlap like they tend to do).
