<p>I just had a quick question (or a couple) in regards to SAT II's. I know that all colleges and universities - with the exception of GT - require two SAT II's. Is there any reason to take more? I have some friends insisting that the average at the top tier schools is around four per applicant.</p>

Physics - 750</p>
<p>Are these scores good enough? Should I brush up on my math and take Math II, or is it just not worth it?</p>

Did you check their admission requirements on the website for the particular schools? That’s your best place for information for things like this</p>
<p>Only Georgetown requires three. Many highly selective schools require two. Most schools require none.</p>

<p>First, “all colleges and universities” do not require SAT IIs, only a relative few do and many of those that “do” require them really don’t, at least if you submit ACT scores rather than SAT. Include Yale, Stanford, Duke, and Northwestern in this group.</p>
<p>Your friends’ claim that the average # of SAT IIs is 4 at top schools is suspect, and the only reasons I can imagine to take more than 2 (except for applying to Georgetown, of course) would be if your scores were weak or your subjects were too similar. Neither of those concerns apply to you. 750s are fine, as are USH and Physics. You’re good as is.</p>

<p>What’s funny is that I totally knew that because I was talking about some smaller colleges with a friend of mine who has not taken any SAT II’s and has to “limit” her search accordingly.</p>
