<p>How many sat II's are required for Georgetown? On the website it said three. Does it require 3 or it is suggesting three sat II's?</p>

<p>I'd say having only two SAT IIs isn't fantastic, but since three tests aren't a requirement, you can't really be penalized for it along the lines of, "Let's not even consider this application."</p>

<p>You are correct all most all schools are not considering the new SAT writing as part of your SAT . However, many are using it to replace the SATII English test! That is why so many students are only have to take 2 SAT II"s It is different than in the past, where most students took 3 SAT II's. Times are changing AiHy</p>

<p>Sorry, but I'm definitely NOT talking about other schools. I'm telling you what is fact for Georgetown. The school still "strongly" recommends 3 SAT IIs and does not count the new writing portion at all.</p>

<p>All candidates, whether they submit scores from the SAT or ACT, should submit scores from 3 SAT II subject tests. The writing portion on the new SAT will not be substituted for an SAT II subject test score.</p>

<p>Aihy is right. I visited Georgetown this summer and talked to one of the people on the admissions board and they clarified it is definitely 3 SAT IIs and the writing section does NOT count.</p>
