SAT Improvement suggestions

Hi everyone, I am in a bit of a pickle here so some help is appreciated. I just got my October SAT scores back and I got a 1620! I got a 550 in math, 530 in CR, and a 540 in English.

I am aiming for a 1800 minimum here and my last chance for the SAT is the December 3rd test. So I have some time to study. I have the CollegeBoard book (Big blue) and I saw that a lot of people didn't recommend it for studying, only for the practice tests. Can someone explain to me what's wrong the BB and what other materials should I get if needed.

Nothing is wrong with that blue book. Don’t listen to them. They say that because they didn’t subscribe to the online course, mentioned in the book.

Math=Grubers + Dr. Chung’s
Writing: Kaplan. Don’t rely on Kaplan too much; the people there just teach useful grammar tips (like when to use whom and who, or when to use less and fewer)
Reading: Direct Hits Vocabulary

If you don’t mind me asking, what’s so good about Dr. Chungs?

Bump. I am looking through the BB and it is helpful, but not very good at explaining concepts. Is Dr. Chungs really that good?

I’ve never used it but I’ve read many comments about people raving about how awesome it is.

if you go on amazon.coma and search for it then you can get a preview of some of the pages. use that to judge for yourself.

So I bought the Dr. Chungs SAT math off Amazon this morning. I’ll look at it when it arrives. I am excited!

BB strategies r useless, get rocket review and read sparknotes 7 deadly errors for writing, buy the two editions of direct hits for vocab/critical reading, buy grubers for math :)

Well it’s too late now lol
