SAT March 10 2012

LMAO at hkim0713

His name is supersaian, as in Dragonball Z, not superasian as in 800M 800CR 480W. Very funny.

About the writing, I was confused at the question in writing that said, “Lipstick, whose ingredients include artificial color, wax, and fragrance, vary in shape and size.” I chose ‘whose’ as being incorrect, since it doesn’t describe a person, but I had never before heard ‘lipstick vary’ as opposed to ‘lipstick varies’. Was I correct?

Also, the math question with the OABC quadrilateral where one side was made of two radii, what was I supposed to do?

I put vary and they were all equilateral triangles (i think)

where two sides were* ^

O wait wrong question. You had to cut into two triangles, with (.5)(2)(4) area each I htink

Did anyone get superlative as an answer for CR?

yeah i got superlative

was the math section with 29 experimental?

What was the answer to the math question about the degrees of x? There was a polygon inscribed in a circle and it was a MC question

was that the one about the teacher not dealing with nonsense? because i remember putting peremptory for that one…

How about “scavanges”

@ellangog
60 degrees

Curve Prediction

-1 = 780 in math
-3= 800 in reading
-1 w/ 10 essay = 800 in writing

Scavenges was correct as well as peremptory.

i had lipstick… (varies)< was the wrong one.
for the math qts with the two radii, i got 4?
i had an experimental CR, but I did have the question with the tiles and the dots and the 12 + 2root3 questions for math.

For the first grammar improving paragraph, was it “aesthetics”

@Greenroses Yeah i got 4. And it was 6 + 2 root 3

For Writing (Improving Paragraphs) did anyone get stuck between Moreover, they hire landscapers or Nonetheless, they hire landscapers

Okay, for the one with the circle and the two lines tangent (one of which was the x axis), and you had to find the area of the quadrilateral (i.e. the area of the two triangles):

wasn’t it 4, b/c each triangle had an area of 2? Someone please confirm. What was the coordinate of the center of the circle??

yeah i’m pretty sure it was 4
the coordinates were (4,1) (i think)

~smartdude: yep I had that

@rpats23 I put Moreover
@forsworn99 it was 4
