For some strange reason, my application status at Stanford says that they have received everything except my collegeboard report of my SAT marks.....which I told collegeboard to send a copy in june, is this just clerical (havent filed yet)? or did collegeboard not send my SAT marks to Stanford?

call collegeboard.

when we visited in June, Stanford told us that they were likely to lose anything that came in before the common app was filed. I asked them about the June SAT scores we had sent, and he recommended we resend later. So, in Sep, after submitting the common app, we resent. I recommend you do the same, but also ask your counselor to email Stanford with the scores and say they are on their way.

they lose everything before the common app is filed? that's sorta ridiculous

I sent my SAT scores in June (it was free for my first 4 schools, so I figured why not?) When I called Stanford in October, they said they try to keep all SAT scores on file, but there was a slim possibility that they had lost mine. It turns out they still have my scores.

That they are likely to lose materials before the common app is sent might be true for paper forms, such as teacher recs, but for electronic scores, I would imagine it would be very easy to keep them, all they have to do is save all the scores they get to a hard drive until the common app arrives. This can all be done automatically by a computer program, so there is a smaller chance they would lose it.

yup it seems they lost mine.....i have to rush report now

stanford asks that you NOT do the rush, since the collegeboard sends that on paper. I don't know what options you have, but perhaps in addition to anything else you do, you could ask your counselor to email them in, so they are kinda official, with a statement that they seem to be lost so you are also resending the official copy.
