SAT Math curve

well, there's a ton of different curves for all the different tests . . .

Anyways: 1 wrong; 0 omit = 790

I'm happy, I wish it was an 800, just for the sake of having a perfect score, but oh well. The March test had horrible curves for math.

0 wrong, 2 omit = 750

will someone tell them about this?

March SAT: 1 wrong, 1 Omit, raw score 52= 760

June SAT: 0 wrong, 0 omit, raw score 54 = 800

on cr i only missed 3 but got 760. on other tests -3 has been 780 or higher.

5 wrong, 0 omit...690

I am irked.

3 wrong 2 omit
690

Wow, the curve was HARSH!

I got an 800, but I'll have to say that this is pretty sick. There's no way that the College Board can possibly claim to actually measure math skill when a few accidental mistakes cause 100-point swings in score. The math SAT questions need to be harder, so that actual ability, not dumb luck, distinguishes students.

When I took the old SAT in October 2004, I got 1 wrong + 0 omit but still an 800.

On the new one in May 2005, I got an 800 with 0 wrong + 0 omit. I think 1 wrong was supposed to be a 790 in May.
