SAT math experimental section?

Was the experimental section the one with the stitching patterns?

yea, i didnt have that question

I didn't have that question either.

i had that question and i hope it was bc i left that one blank.

wait refresh my memory.. the section with the rope/stitch question.. what were some of the other questions? that wasn't the one with the bucket question, right?

I know that I had math as an experimental. There was one math section that I had a terrible time with, and I didn't even get to LOOK at the last 1/3 of the test. So, since the problem you're describing doesn't ring a bell, I am hoping with all my might that it was experimental.

ew that knitting pattern was so annoying...
wasnt it choice E, 56700 so it was between 50000 and 60000?

I don't know if the knitting patterns one was in the same section as the pail question...then it wouldn't be experimental :(

I did not have the knitting question; I think on the "pail" section there was one on pentagons placed in a row asking about the total length of the fence, therefore "knitting" section was "experimental".

i had 4 maths and no knitting so its gotta be that

One of my math sections was experimential as well. I think it was section 4 on mine, most likely. It did not have a stitching patterns question however. Might be there is more than one different experimental section for the math.

i know one of mine was experimental, and i did have knitting.

So does anyone know any other questions from that knitting/experimental section?

how would you know that it is an experimental section or not? i was praying that a reading section would be it but now that everyone is mentioning math i don't know.

I also had math - experimental. I don't remember any problem with knitting, neither with stitching, or my memory just blocked :-| But I do remember the problem with the pails - I wasted some time on it.

I did not have the knitting question -> that section was extra on those people's test who had that question.
I had four CR sections; one had a passage with a quote from Shakespeare and subjective versus objective reality, and other people did not have it -> that section was extra on my test.
Phew! That passage was a killer. Plus a proctor harassed me three times when I was working on it, because when she gave a 5 min. warning on a previous section I confronted her (there were 6 minutes left), and she did give us 6 min to finish the section.

In response to uninfatuated, you know if it is an experimental section, because each test should have 1 essay/2 writing sections, 3 math sections, and 3 critical reading sections, which adds up to nine sections, plus one experimental section. Therefore, if you had four math sections, one of your maths was experimental.

I'm sorry. I had four maths (two of them being consecutive) but I cannot recall a knitting pattern question... is the experimental the one with the choice of food question?

(Directed at mao) HAHA! YESS! Finally someone remembers that section! I've been asking around and no one but me seemed to have the math section with two burning candles and the salad preference questions. So I'm assuming that's the one you're talking about since I haven't so much as heard it even mentioned otherwise. I couldn't get either the burning candles or salad preference questions- did you?

I think the answer the salad one is I and III - everything except all Mexican food lovers also chose Italian food as their favorites (something along those lines). As for the candles (wasn't it fence post?) I got 101.

TELL ME IF IM WRONG!!
