Ok. I’m planning to take the Fall SAT and the math section is dissolving my confidence. I’m using Khan academy to study and I’m getting to the point of “eff it!” but I try to persevere. My latest score on a practice test is 1190, I got a 560 for the math and 630 for the reading, I’m hoping to get a 1300 on the Fall SAT. I got an 1120 in the May SAT and I was heavily disappointed. What are your tips for studying the Math portion?
The most important thing is learning from mistakes not practicing. Get a prep book and do all questions. As you go, mark each and every question you make mistake on. Periodically do these questions on your own and work accordingly. It is very important to understand your weakness and learn from mistakes.
GOOD LUCK!!
