My goal was 700+ math, my past scores are solid enough in CR/W. I think I may have gotten it, the only math problem I was unsure about was the last one in the 20 min. section but knowing me there I’m sure I made some stupid errors somewhere.
Al3xisnic0le, yeah I think I had the same as you. There are 3 reading, 3 math, and 2 writing + essay sections that count, so for whichever you had more, one was the experimental section!

For people who didn’t have experimental reading, which passages did you have? I remember the artist lady, the fishermen couple, the video game guy, Herodotus, and animal migrations…

@Sdalss what were your passages? Did you have the one about democracy and politics and stuff? That’s the one I messed up on SO bad

@sdalss I don’t recall anything about the fisherman but I had the rest… Maybe that was your variable?

Where is the thread to discuss this SAT. Noone’s talking about it :p.

On page 2.

this was the same as the international test

Hey so I didn’t have an experimental section. For Sdalss, I did not have the fishermen couple, but I had all the other passages you listed

for the people that had leaders as their essay, was the second section experimental?

@al3xisnic0le Nope, I didn’t have one about politics!

DS thinks he got an 800 on math. Hoping for 600 or better on reading and writing. I told him the 800 is rare and there was probably some gotcha question.

Does anyone know the answer to the inversely proportional question about ticket sales and prices?

For the ticket question you just multiplied each amount of tickets by the price, and you would find that the required amount of money is $15000. So if you sell each ticket for $12, you would need to sell 1250 tickets. That’s the answer

for the first time us and international exams were the same !!! ■■■

What was the Writing experimental section???

Did anybody have sentence completing question with the choice “forlorn”?
I had no idea what that was… that section was section 2 for me.

Oh my goodness that math section was HARD. That tree one was ugh

@jyk8987 yes! Me too, but I don’t remember the sentence either…
And @ShawnD, I think the experimental was one of the last reading sections.

The experimental section I had was for writing. It was a lot like the ACT english format, it was a paragraph with bold numbers next to certain sections and it asked about corrections. In march I had a reading experimental where every other question asked for text evidence for my previous answer. The experimentals seem really easy to spot to me since it’s such a different format
