SAT Most Important Factor? Can a Score of 1800-2000 get you in?

Hello, Im thinking of doing Stanford EA but Im really confused about the SAT component. Whilst my councillor and some other people say that don’t bother applying with these( 1800-2000) scores since Im International and second the school apparently filters out students with respect to SAT and GPA. Whilst some say, that its worth a try and some students do get in? Is it Possible to get in with these scores? Did anyone got into Stanford with these score?
With respect to my other important components of application, I believe that they are good. I got All As and 1 B in Olevel Exams and have attained Almost all As last year in AS, my predicted score of Alevel is All As which is somewhat equal to 4.0 + GPA. I have helped 500 flood victims by providing them with shelter, Also, I am a President of two NGO organisations. I have set up an animal welfare program to create awareness and free medication to prosecuted animals. It is one of a kind in my country, where animals are not even considered living beings. Moreover, I have been awarded the most prestigious National Blazer by the President for Charity works and working with Special Children. I have also interned at an insurance company, mentored at a local school and have given several talks in school and universities. But the Most fulfilling is that I am currently working for the UN, I am a member of UN my World Policy Strategy Group. I went to UN Headquarters recently to represent my country and engage in numerous events. UN Women has also approved my proposal, and I am set to launch Orange Unite Campaign against Domestic Violence and Encourage Women Empowerment in my Country. This Campaign was started by Ban ki Moon himself and Im being appointed as a UN Women Ambassador to my home country for this feat in November, I also wrote blogs for UN proposals and Pakistan Government. I have won my country’s Youth Icon Award, Cultural Revolutionist and have recently been nominated for Rising leader of SE Asia award.
My Councillor and peers think my common app essay is phenomenal since it incorporates my values and society’s image. It is a bit controversial and risky, but I believe my voice comes out and it shows my inner story which hasn’t been explored before,
Do you think its worth applying? I panic a lot and Im certainly not good with long exams, thus I SAT is the real issue.
I look forward to the comments,
Thanks

An 1800-2000 SAT usually is adequate only for strongly “hooked” applicants, such as recruited athletes. As an international applicant from Southeast Asia, you are in a particularly tough position. Despite your interesting and impressive ECs, I think it will be very, very difficult. I would attempt to re-take and raise your score, and consider applying RD rather than ED.

For Stanford, 2000 is below their 25th-75th percentile range of 2070-2360.

While your ECs are interesting, they don’t contribute directly to the bottom line of critical attributes it covets:

  • you don't add to the URM headcount
  • you are not a recruited athlete that can contribute to its athletic record
  • you are not a "development case" (i.e. a deep-pockets family that is likely to donate a $20 million new dorm)
  • you and your parents are not household names who can add celebrity cache to the school community

Retake the SAT or use your ED on a better matched school.
