Hi guys. I'm starting this thread to organize the daily questions from college board.

Okay. so if anyone comes across any difficult or confusing questions of the day please post them here so other people can explain them.

Hi guys. I'm starting this thread to organize the daily questions from college board.

Okay. so if anyone comes across any difficult or confusing questions of the day please post them here so other people can explain them.

Don't they give you explainations when you click "view answer"?

well some people have questions of the day that are stored in their emails since like forever. so i guess if you want to share those you can.

my view answer link doesn't work for some reason... but i have over 200 of them. don't feel like posting them all though.

Here is one example:

Of 5 employees, 3 are to be assigned an office and 2 are to be assigned a cubicle. If 3 of the employees are men and 2 are women, and if those assigned an office are to be chosen at random, what is the probability that the offices will be assigned to 2 of the men and 1 of the women?

a. 1/3 b. 2/5 c. 1/2 d. 3/5 e. 2/3

yea college board is now only showing the answers for questions that are not older than 1 month. They're probably doing it to get rid of space on their servers.

ugh... crap. i guess i'll stick with the BB

This is a good idea, although you should organize them by date with answer & explanation.

Either we throw questions around. Or make it a forum specific to the actual Question of the day. for now i'll post the question of the day each day. but if i forget. please somebody else post it.

I would edit in every single question into the main post everyday so it would be comprehensive and people would not need to search around the thread for questions/answers.

That was what I meant.

ugh. its hard to copy and paste questions.

^ Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v: that's not very hard.

when its underlined and there are letters under the lines its weird. like todays question of the day. try to copy and paste that.

does anyone know the answer to the question?

Okay Let me clarify one thing. If we just put the question of the day up each day that's pretty useless. agreed. because the answers and explanations are on collegeboard.

That being said. Why don't we make the purpose of this thread to post difficult SAT questions that you come by. like the one i posted above. let me know what you all think

There's already a thread for difficult questions. This thread is pointless. When somebody has trouble with a question, they'll make their own thread and thats much more clear then randomly sticking hard questions into a single thread.

yea i agree. Quix where is the thread for difficult questions

Search for it. It died because it was just as pointless as this thread.

dont bother. questions are too easy. nothing like the sat
