SAT Optional

<p>Starting with next year's class, applicants are no longer required to submit SAT scores, and the SAT will become an optional item. WPI will be the first engineering school to do this. How do you guys feel about it? I personally think that the SATs, while not perfect, should be required as a means of standardizing grades from around the country and providing a way to compare students from high schools of completely different levels.</p>
