SAT prep book, help!

I have recently purchased Grammatix, and I will read it probably later tonight (after I finish one more section of my Critical Reading test just to see how I do before I start using Grammatix). I'll be using it mostly for writing and reading (since I need some serious work in this areas!). I wanted to get some opinions about the book and what you think of RocketReview and Kaplan's. Someone has suggested Kaplan's for the vocab list and practice. I was wondering if Kaplan's vocab list is relatively the same as PR's list. Also, any comments or opinions about any other prep books, strategies, etc. are always welcome! Thanks!!

As for vocab...

PR has 250, Kaplan has 500.

I just finished PR. Ask me to compare the two in 9 days after I finish Kaplan. I bet Kaplan will include most of the Hit Parade, anyway. But I'd recommend doing PR first, since they organize words into groups which really can help with memorizing at first. After that, go on to Kaplan. Since you'll already know half the words, you'll be more confident.

But if you're planning on following Grammatix hardcore, you won't need vocab at all.

grammatix is great for CR, their strategies helped me a lot. the math section i can't say was anything that spectacular, and writing had a nice review of grammar skills that are tested so that should help summarize if you're weak in any area of grammar.

I'm excited to read Grammatix, but I'm hoping Mike got my e-mail. I've been told that all I need to do is e-mail him after purchasing the electronic version, and he'll send me a hard copy if I tell him that I'm a member of the CC forums. Is he supposed to e-mail me back? Which e-mail address should I send my message to? Thanks, and theoneo, thanks for the vocab advice. I plan to look over Grammatix and see whether I'll be studying lots of vocab or not. The problem for me is that vocab can get soooo uninteresting rather quickly, which makes it hard to be committed in studying the words. I'll see what I can do about it! Thanks though!
